My friends (and fellow Grinnellians) Liz and Andrew have started a blog to document the experiences they've had with the flooding in Iowa City. Today's post includes a video tour of their house. Check it out.
As with any disaster, the media will stay with the story as long as there's shocking footage and new developments to grab audience attention. As the floodwaters recede, so will media attention, and the press will move on to the next story. But Liz, Andrew, and the many, many other people in Iowa will be dealing with this flood long after the cameras stop running.
